Leidos to share defence, aviation and technology expertise with the next generation of space tech startups
San Francisco, 19 JULY 2023: Generation Space, known as Seraphim Space outside of the US, which runs the leading, dedicated accelerator for global startups in the SpaceTech industry, has opened its applications for its 12th cohort (Mission 12).
Generation Space is delighted to announce Mission 12 alongside Leidos, whom it welcomes as a new sponsor in the US. A FORTUNE® 500 technology, engineering, and science solutions and services leader working to solve the world’s toughest challenges in the defence, intelligence, civil and health markets, Leidos will bring tremendous value to the pioneering startups taking part in Mission 12 and the more than 80 companies represented in the Accelerator’s world-class portfolio of accelerator alumni.
This new sponsorship represents a significant milestone for Generation Space as we continue to expand our presence in the US, bringing investment expertise to early-stage startups and game-changing technologies and insights to our startup partners. The accelerator is a three-month programme that supports SpaceTech companies from inception to IPO. Through the programme, the Mission 12 cohort will have the opportunity to develop key relationships with some of the world’s leading corporates and agencies operating in the space sector as they look to raise capital to commercialise their technology.
